For Architects and Engineers
Whether a project intends to strive for a leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) certification, or wants to reduce its long term operating costs, TruSolarShare analysis provides the information needed to make an informed decision on incorporating solar technologies into the buildings’ energy generation mix.
TruSolarShare, an advanced solar energy data processing method developed by Green Power Labs based on physical models of solar irradiation and most comprehensive solar climatology data, performs calculations of the hourly radiation, daily, monthly and average yearly solar energy per square meter of insolated surface, and supports the feasibility studies of solar technologies applicability to new buildings. TruSolarShare considers building positioning, individual architectural features, permanent (neighbouring structures, landscape features) and seasonal (vegetation) obstructions. The TruSolarShare assessment report includes an advanced documentation of the building site conditions, building’s design suitability to solar energy generation, analysis of energy needs/applications; return on investment and postive environmental impact. The level of detail provided in each TruSolarShare assessment report meets the demanding standard set by the LEED® requirement of detailed documentation of building performance.
