Buying a System
How we will work with you
- Step 1: Consultations
This step is required to understand your needs and provide you with the most appropriate information, which will help to understand backup power technology.
- Step 2: Engineering
This is the step where all the information about your power needs is processed. At this step we engineer the most appropriate system that complies with your specific requirements. At this step we also visit your site and make a quick survey to determine the best place to install the system. This also gives you a chance to ask all the questions you have about the system.
After our visit to your site you will receive a quotation, review it and sign the confirmation of order document. We will ask you to return this confirmation with your personal cheque covering 70% of the price quoted. The remaining portion will be paid after we complete the installation of your system.
- Step 3: Ordering unique equipment
After receiving your confirmation of order, we will place necessary orders for the unique components of your system to our vendors. It usually takes up to 30 days to collect all the basic and unique parts of your system in our stock ready to be installed.
We will inform you about our readiness to start the installation problems to co-ordinate with you the convenient schedule.
- Step 4: Installation
At this step we will install the Backup Power System equipment on your site according to the work schedule agreed. The system will be fully prepared for operation and ready for the final step – Safety Inspection.
-Step 5: Inspection
Safety inspection by the Nova Scotia Power inspector is conducted. After the inspection the system is switched on and operating.
At this step you will receive a final invoice for your system. We will also ask you to cover the outstanding portion of this invoice in 7 days.
