Municipal Solar Knowledgebase Development
Countries in moderate and northern latitudes like Canada require maximization of energy output from solar energy systems. For advancing solar technologies in these areas municipal planners need comprehensive data on availability of solar energy resource and on suitability of buildings for solar applications. The goal of the project was to develop a general approach to building a knowledge base of solar photovoltaic and thermal potential for municipal applications.
